Transplant Surgery

The session covers DCD (donation after circulatory death) donor expansion, machine perfusion (OrganOx for liver, TransMedics for lung/heart, LifePort for kidney), kidney transplant living-donor expansion (paired exchanges), ABO-incompatible transplantation, and xenotransplantation (UAB porcine kidney trial, NYU heart trial follow-up).
