Urological Surgery
Urological surgery integrates robotic and endoscopic techniques with multiple recent device innovations. The session covers robotic prostatectomy outcomes, holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) vs TURP, kidney stone management (RIRS, PCNL, ureteroscopy with thulium fibre laser), bladder cancer surgery (robotic radical cystectomy, intracorporeal urinary diversion), ureteric reconstruction, and pediatric urology (VUR, hypospadias). Discussion addresses focal therapy for prostate cancer (HIFU, cryoablation), bladder-sparing in muscle-invasive bladder cancer, MR-fusion targeted biopsy, robotic kidney transplantation, urinary diversion options, and single-port robotic urology.
